Hi Michelle!  That sounds like a great lineup for dining at Disney; you've chosen some of my very favorite restaurants.  As the mother of four (including three teen girls) I know how much of an impact those increased charges can have on a vacation budget.  It was, after all, much less expensive to take trips to Disney when my girls were all under ten!  With that said, I have picked up a few budgeting trips along the way and hopefully I can pass on some good information that will be helpful for you.  Indeed, a ten-year-old can order from the children's menu.  Many of Disney's restaurants have large portions that even my teens can't eat in one sitting.  They typically will share a meal.  Before their taste buds evolved to the point they're at now, they used to order from the children's menu from time to time, even when they were well past the age of ten.  I hope that helps!

PS.  Part two of your question was cut off for word count; if you resubmit I'd be happy to help!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
