need some advice on children and table service restaurants...specifically, the Biergarten and Teppen Edo. Kids in question are 7 year old twin boys and one 4 year old. would they be for the kiddos. Thanks. Judy

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Judy! We love it when guests return with more questions.

You have picked two of the best restaurants on Walt Disney World Resort property for children. Teppan Edo in Epcot's Japan Pavilion is great because you essentially get dinner and a show. Little ones are typically captivated by the artistry of the skillful chefs who will prepare your meal right in front of you. I think your kids are going to love dining there.

Not only is Biergarten Restaurant one of my personal favorites, but little kids love this place too. Situated right in the middle of Epcot's Germany Pavilion, Biergarten welcomes guests into a convincing replica of a Bavarian village in the midst of Oktoberfest. Since this restaurant serves a buffet, everyone will be able to find something they will enjoy. The entertainment at this establishment is so much fun. Who doesn't love a live oom-pah band? I would only be concerned about bringing your children to this restaurant if loud noises startle them. The music is beautiful but it can be a bit loud for skittish little ones. However, if you have kids who love to dance, chances are good they will want to join other guests on the dance floor.

Both Teppan Edo and Biergarten Restaurant accept and recommend advance dining reservations. You can make those reservations online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE, or (407) 939-3463.

    Bon appétit,
    Jill
