I need to get 8 adults 3 toddlers and a stroller to the contemporary resort from the animation resort for the chef mickey dining experience. what is the best way to get there? is there a shuttle? then back to animation resort from magic kingdom?

    Welcome to planDisney, Luke.

A stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort sounds like so much fun! With its storybook landscapes – including Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid – this is possibly the best Disney-themed Resort on property. I have some young Mouseketeers of my own and we are planning on staying at this Resort on our next trip. There are also some fantastic pools to enjoy, including the largest one in any Disney Resort. It's hard to pick a favorite, but I've got to go with the Cozy Cone Pool. Both of my kids are HUGE fans of Cars and so this pool really fits the bill. Make sure you eat a few meals at Landscape of Flavors (which is arguably one the best quick-service restaurants in Walt Disney World). My favorite feature of this hotel is the convenient access to Disney Skyliner. Is there anything better than "flying" to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT? And the best news: no pixie dust is required!

If all this wasn't magical enough, you also have reservations for Chef Mickey's! There is nothing better than enjoying a meal at Walt Disney World with Mickey and his pals. Here's how I would map out the journey, Luke: Take the Disney bus service from Disney's Art of Animation Resort to Magic Kingdom Park. Then take the monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort (as an alternative, you could also walk, which takes about 10 minutes or so).

After your meal, I would do the reverse to get back to Disney's Art on Animation Resort. It's worth bearing in mind that the monorail journey back to Magic Kingdom Park is longer and so you might prefer to walk.

I hope that's helpful, Luke. I'm sure you'll have a delicious meal and an enchanting trip. During your trip, make sure you check out all there is to see, do, and taste at EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival

    See ya real soon!
