We need to make 1 more ADR at or close to MK on Oct08 trip w/2 DD (11 & 3) Thinking of dinner at Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace or Whispering Canyon. Other ADR are CRT, Coral Reef, Sci Fi and Rainforest Cafe. What do you recommend?

Of the three restaurants you mentioned I would opt for the Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge.  My children insist on visiting there at least once during each of our Walt Disney World vacations.  The food is plentiful and tasty; my kids love that they have bottomless milkshakes in a variety of flavors.  There is also plenty of commotion in the dining room that makes for a rowdy good time while you dine.  The stick horse races are a big hit with preschoolers and your tween will likely get a kick out of some of  the other shenanigans that go in throughout the restaurant.  I highly recommend the Whispering Canyon for families of all ages.  And, seeing as how it's just a quick boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom, it won't take you long to get right back to the magic!  Hope that helps.

Meet the Panelist: Darcie, Alabama

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
