I need to add my 22 month old grandson to our room reservation but I can’t figure out how to do that

    Hello there, Stacey!

Thanks for visiting us at planDisney, and welcome. I’m so excited to hear that you have a visit coming up. You must be so excited! This is the time I like to finalize my plans and add any last-minute dining reservations. The month before our last big family trip, we added the Fantasmic! Dining Package. It was probably our favorite last-minute add. We selected dining at Hollywood & Vine, and the food and Characters were so fun. We had never dined there before, to this day, my husband still talks about it. So if you’re looking to add something fun, this is a great option. Especially when traveling with little ones, because you can always head back to your resort for a quick nap and still make it back for the evening show, knowing you have reserved seating. Even though the reserved seating is first-come first first-served, they are all in a great viewing location.

Now, to add your grandson to your resort reservation, you’ll want to call the Walt Disney World reservations line. All you’ll need is your grandson's name, age, and your resort confirmation number to add him to your reservation. After collecting that information, the Cast Member on the other line will finalize your reservation to include him. And with a wave of the wand, you’re all set! Now it’s just a matter of counting down until you arrive.

Since you will be traveling with a little one, I recommend taking advantage of the Baby Care Centers. There is one in each of the theme parks, and they are the perfect place to escape the heat and purchase any essentials you may have forgotten for your little Mouseketeer. They also have kid-sized restroom facilities, which came in handy when we brought our freshly potty-trained daughter. She loved the chance to feel like a ‘big girl’.

Stacey, I hope this helps finalize your plans! If there’s anything else you need or we can help with, please don’t hesitate to ask!

    Have a great visit,

    Shantel

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
