    I need to add Genie+ service to my seven other tickets on my account. This process has been impossible. So frustrating. No instructions online help and the customer support on the app hasn't responded to me in literal weeks. PLEASE HELP. PLEASE

    Greetings, and welcome to planDisney, Haley, we thank you for this excellent question, we are truly sorry for the inconvenience and greatly appreciate your patience.

    Haley, please do not worry about adding the Disney Genie+ service in advance of your arrival now that you have your Disneyland Resort theme park tickets because you will be able to add the option to your plans just after you enter a theme park by using the Disneyland Mobile App.  

    Here is how to prepare for your visit using the Disneyland Mobile App and how to add the Disney Genie+ service after you enter a Disneyland Resort theme park:

    1. In preparation, let’s make sure your theme park tickets are linked to your Disneyland Mobile App
    2. On the Home Page tap the three stacked lines on the bottom right to lead you to your Welcome page. Select Tickets and Passes to Link Tickets by either scanning the barcode or entering the ticket ID number manually - follow through to confirmation.
    3. From this point, please make your Disneyland Resort – Theme Park Reservations using your linked tickets.
    4. Please prepare your Disneyland Mobile App in advance of your arrival for the addition of the Disney Genie+ service by updating your Payment Method. From the Home Page please tap the three stacked lines on the bottom right to head to your Welcome page. From there, scroll down to and select My Profile. Select Payment Method to add up to six payment methods including Disney Gift Cards if you wish. Now your app will be ready to activate the Disney Genie+ service as soon as you enter the theme park.
    5. Once you enter the theme park open your Disneyland Mobile App and look for the Disney Genie on the Home Page to add all your favorite attractions, experiences and dining. The Disney Genie will provide you with a list of all of your preferred attractions with approximate wait times for both the Standby and Lightning Lane entrances. You can tap on the Lightning Lane option from the attraction flow to buy the Disney Genie+ service or you can add the Disney Genie+ service from the Home Page. It’ll be activated upon your request and the payment will be covered by the payment method you added when updating the Payment Method before your arrival.

    From this point, you can select your first Lightning Lane arrival window and continue to do so for the remainder of your day by referring to the Tip Board or My Day itinerary to see when you can secure your next selections, one at a time until park closing.

    Now that you've updated your Payment Method in the Disneyland Mobile App you will be able to enjoy vacation essentials, such as Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering.

    When you buy the Disney Genie+ service you will enjoy unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass attraction photos including Magic Shots from your day.
