Hi, Christine! Welcome to planDisney!
Kicking off the new year at the Walt Disney World Resort is such a great idea! Just when everyone else will be heading back to work and school, you'll be on vacation. So smart!
Christine, I'm not sure if you're trying to add a visit to
EPCOT to your existing plans on January 4, or if you're trying to make a new reservation. I'll touch on both here, but if you had a different question, please feel free to pop in and ask again, okay?
If you have tickets with the
Park Hopper Option added and would like to visit EPCOT as your second theme park of the day, you do not need to make another
Disney Park Pass reservation. You only need a reservation for the park you plan to visit
first, then you're free to hop to as many theme parks as you like from 2 p.m. until park closing. So, if you already have a reservation for one park that day and you're trying to add another reservation on the same day, that would be the reason you've been unable to do so.
On the other glove, if you're trying to make a reservation for EPCOT as your first theme park that day and are having trouble, you may need to make sure your tickets are linked to your
My Disney Experience account. Hop over to the
"Link Your Reservations and Purchases" page on the Walt Disney World website and follow the prompts to link your tickets. Then, you should be able to make Disney Park Pass reservations to tour the world at EPCOT!
If your tickets are linked and you're still having problems making reservations, you'll want to
give Guest Relations a call so a Cast Member can get it all ironed out for you.
I hope this helps you plan an amazing day at one of my very favorite theme parks, Christine! I adore EPCOT, and I just know you'll have the best time. Thank you so much for stopping by to see us with your question, and I wish you lots of Disney magic in the year ahead!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
