Do I need to add a baby to the Restaurant Reservations?

Welcome to planDisney, Jennifer! I'm so glad that you came to ask about my favorite activity at Walt Disney World Resort: dining. There are so many world-class restaurants to try at The Most Magical Place On Earth and dishes to please every palate and the first place to start is with dining reservations, so let's chat about how to make sure everyone in your party is included when you book.

Jennifer, everyone who will be at the table needs to be represented in the headcount when you make a dining reservation, and this includes infants. Even if they won't be eating, it helps the restaurants know exactly how much space is needed and if you'll require a highchair as well. If you need to add your infant to your reservation, you can do this using the My Disney Experience app! Select your dining reservation and tap on "Modify." You'll have the opportunity to adjust the party size and select a time that works best for you. If you're dining somewhere that has a fixed price menu, like a Character Dining experience, you won't be asked to pay for your baby to sit at the table. Guests under three are special guests of Mickey Mouse and can eat off of their grown-ups' plates!

I hope this answers your question, Jennifer, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
