Do I need an actual ticket to enter the parks? I’m not seeing a barcode on our tickets on the ap?

    Greetings, Ryan!

Welcome to planDisney, we’re happy to have you. It sounds like you are one step ahead of the game and have already linked your tickets to your My Disney Experience account. ChEARs!

I’m all EARs, lets see  if I can help you out with your ticket(s). Are you staying at Disney Resort hotel? As a Disney Resort hotel Guest, you have the option to customize and receive, MagicBands for your visit. (Tip: My family likes to spend a little extra and order the MagicBands with Characters on them). It’s a fun way for everyone to share their personality. These MagicBands will be your all access device to the parks and give you access to your resort room.

Have no fear, Mouseketeer. If you did not book a vacation package, you should have still received a confirmation number, after purchasing your tickets online or through the website. You will need to bring this confirmation number, picture identification, and the payment method used to purchase tickets, on your first day at the parks. Simply bring all these items to the gate of the Theme Park, when you arrive, and you will be given a card that will serve as your physical ticket.

Be sure to have your ticket(s) linked, to your My Disney Experience account, so that you are able to make your park reservations. You will be able to make your park reservations using the Disney Park Pass system. Once you’ve done that, you’re all set! Then comes the hardest part...waiting for your Magical vacation. I like to incorporate a fun countdown with my family, as we wait for our departure date. It helps make the experience fun and gets my Mouseketeers even more excited for our visit!

Ryan, I hope this helps answer your question. If you find that you need help accessing your confirmation number, or any other questions about your tickets, you can always give the Walt Disney World Resort a call. A Cast Member there will be more than happy to help!

    See ya real soon!

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
