I need to activate my children’s annual passes along with mine. My kids do not have ID. Will that cause an issue?

Welcome to planDisney, Laura! I'm excited to hear that you and your kids have joined the Annual Passholder family. You've got a whole year of magic ahead of you, so let's chat about activating your passes on your next trip and what you'll need to have on hand when you do that.

Laura, while you will need to present identification to pick up your Annual Pass, minors do not have to do that so your kids are good to go. As long as you're present with them, everything should go smoothly! If you have some time to do it, I recommend picking up your Annual Pass at the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs, which tends to be a bit quicker than visiting the Guest Relations locations at the Theme Parks.

I also wanted to let you know that if you have already purchased your Annual Passes and don't need to do any extra steps, like verifying residency if you live in Florida, your Annual Passes will be automatically activated the first time you use them at a Theme Park! If everything on your end looks good to go, you can use your MagicBand+ or Disney Magic Mobile service to tap in and start feeling the magic right away.

I hope this answers your question, Laura, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
