Do you need an accessible hotel room if you have a service dog?

    Hi Katelynn!

Service animals are welcome at Walt Disney World Resort, including hotels, parks, and Disney Springs. You do not need an accessible room if you have a service dog. The accessible hotel rooms at Walt Disney World include features for those who need wheelchair access or hearing accessibility. However, I definitely recommend that you contact Disability Services at 407-560-2547 or email disability.services@disneyparks.com to speak with a Cast Member directly about your request. There may be helpful information that Cast Members can share about visiting Walt Disney World with a service animal and they may also have accommodations that will better serve you.

I also recommend that you check out the Services for Guests with Disabilities page for more information on Service Animals, Parking, and Accessible Room Features. There is also great information on where you can take your service animal to relieve themselves. While service animals are allowed in all of the parks, there are certain restricted areas within Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. You can learn more about those specific areas on the Service Animals page.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
