Hello Tania and welcome to planDisney, we're so glad you stopped by!
It truly was a zip-a-dee-doo-dah day when
Disneyland Resort reopened its gates and welcomed Guests back to the happiest place on earth! I only wish that I could have been there to witness in person the sheer joy every single Guest and Cast Member exuded on this wonderfully pixie-dusted day as beautifully captured in this
Disney Parks Blog article - First Guests Experience Theme Park Magic at Disneyland Resort.Tania, I'm happy to share that as we continue to
Return to a Land of Magic at Disneyland Resort Guests aged 3 yEARS old and over who wish to enter a Theme Park are currently required to purchase a valid
Theme Park Ticket and make an advance reservation for the same day, and the same park they would like to visit.
Theme park reservations are limited and are subject to availability at this time. Plus, until further notice, only California residents may visit the parks, and must be in groups of no larger than 3 households.
As you mentioned, proof of residency of the State of California may be required in the form of a Government-issued ID, or a utility bill that clearly states both your name and California postal address. Also, it might be helpful to know that to make Theme Park Reservations Guests are currently required to
sign into their Disney accounts - these accounts may initially help to prove residency as they should of course be linked to your California postal address.
I hope I've been able to provide you with a little
planDisney insight today Tania!
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
