Hi Vanessa,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question about purchasing
Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets. I am happy to help you today!
You bring up a good topic about whether it is necessary to purchase
Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets ahead of your visit. Since you are visiting during a fairly popular week, I recommend that you at least consider pre-purchasing your tickets if visiting specific parks is important to you. At this time, Guests visiting a Walt Disney World theme park are required to have a valid ticket and a
Theme Park Reservation. As you can see from the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar, there are no more reservations available for Magic Kingdom on Tuesday February 23, 2023. Of course, this does not mean that you will not be able to visit Magic Kingdom at all that day, but it does mean that in order to visit Magic Kingdom that day you will need to have the
Park Hopper Option on your tickets in order to Park Hop over there after 2:00.
Personally, I prefer having my tickets and reservations all in order before I go on vacation. Having my
Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets already purchased also saves me time so I do not have to spend some of my vacation time in line purchasing tickets and making
Theme Park Reservations while I am on vacation.
Vanessa, I am excited you will be visiting during the last days of
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration. I have visited a few times during the celebration and can tell you that you are in for a real treat. Did you know that throughout the 4 theme parks, there are
50 golden characters for you to discover? These make great spots for taking photos and creating some Magical Memories.
See Ya Real Soon,
Brenda
