    Is it necessary to make lunch reservations at the Biergarten Restaurant in Epcot's Germany Pavilion?

    Hi Andrea!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It is a pleasure to answer your very first question!

    Biergarten Restaurant is one of my favorite dining locations at the Walt Disney World Resort. My father’s family is from Germany, and I always feel like I am having a meal at my Oma’s house whenever we dine there.

    While it is not mandatory to make dining reservations, they are highly recommended because this is a very popular restaurant. You can book up to 180 dys in advance online, using the My Disney Experience mobile app or calling (407) 939-3463. I have been able to find a table without a reservation in the past, but we had to wait for a while before being seated. If you are traveling with children or if you have elderly Guests in your party, then I believe making a reservation is the way to go.

    Moms Panel tip: my daughter loves to dance while the band plays! Talk to Cast Members upon arrival and ask if you can be seated near the stage and dance floor. In addition, don’t forget to try their excellent beers!
