Is it necessary to use lighting lane if you are staying at Disney resort and utilize extra early hours?

Welcome to planDisney, Jessica. I'm so honored to serve you as you plan your upcoming trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth. I personally love being fully immersed in the magic of Walt Disney World Resort. And with their celebrated theming, service, and storytelling, the Disney Resort Collection hotels make that wish come true! Having just returned from staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, I was reminded how uniquely enchanting it is staying on property.

One of the benefits of staying at a Disney Resort is that Guests enjoy Early Theme Park Entry. This allows you to jump on some of the more popular rides before the crowds get too busy. Another benefit for Resort Guests is having first access to Disney Genie+ selections. You've never had a friend like this, Jessica! Although not necessary, I personally think the ability to select Lightning Lane entrances, combined with Early Theme Park Entry, is worth it (particularly at Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios). This will enable you to experience enough attractions in the morning that you'll be able to enjoy a slower-paced afternoon (when crowds are highest).

It all comes down to what's important to you, Jessica. For me, I place high importance on riding attractions like Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, Avatar Flight of Passage, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. They are part of the "wow" factor that allures me to Walt Disney World. The great thing about the Lighting Lane options is that they make it possible to enjoy your favorite rides, even on the busiest of days.

I hope that is helpful, Jessica. Thanks for choosing to be our Guest!
