Aloha Jill! Aulani has some great restaurant offerings, where you will be able to try some Island Themed cooking and also some traditional fare. There are two restaurants which currently accept advance reservations- 'Ama'Ama which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a gorgeous beach-side setting, and Makahiki, which serves a Character buffet breakfast Tues-Sun.(Mon. is just buffet with no characters), lunch, and dinner, which is a la care or buffet, whichever you choose! I would strongly suggest making advance reservations, up to 180 days in advance. They have a great online website for doing that,
Aulani Dining Reservations, with sample menus for you to read. They also accept walk-up diners, but you may have to wait a while for a table during busy dining times.
I hope this information will make it easy for you to plan your dining at Aulani, and please don't hesitate to ask me any more questions you may have! Have a great day!
