Hello, Awapuhimele! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh my Mickey waffles! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is next week! I bet your family can hardly wait to start your grand adventure. Have you started packing yet? Be sure to take a look at the
planDisney Panel Extras page for
packing tips as well as some of our other favorite can't-do-Disney-without-it advice to help you get those last-minute details all ironed out.
Awapuhimele, there are several testing sites that are easily accessible via ride share from the Walt Disney World Resort property. For free tests, you can try one of the CVS locations. A Google search showed two CVS stores not far from Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, and another near Disney Springs. They may require an appointment, so I recommend going to the CVS website and contacting one of those stores to find out the best way to schedule your children's tests.
Since most of the Walt Disney World Resort is in Osceola County, you can also try one of the county's testing sites. You'll find a list of them by putting this address in your web browser: osceola.org/covid19testing/.
There's also COVID testing available at the two AdventHealth Centra Care facilities near Walt Disney World, but those do have a cost. Since they're the official healthcare provider of the Walt Disney World Resort, you can
call the AdventHealth number listed here on the the Walt Disney World website to find out what options they may be able to provide for your family.
I hope this helps make your journey home from the Walt Disney World Resort as pleasant and stress-free as your arrival, Awapuhimele. Have a magical vacation, and please come see us again real soon!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
