Hello from NC! Driving to WDW soon, staying at OKW, may drive to theme parks. How much time do we allow for travel, parking, getting to park entrance? MK day we park at TTC for ferry/monorail? Is Monorail running to EP? We have a CM breakfast adr EP day

Hi there Adrienne! It's so great to see you again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for stopping by to chat about your upcoming visit.

It looks like your summer vacation is just around the river bend. Disney's Old Key West Resort is a family favorite, and it's where we were staying when we decided to become Disney Vacation Club members! We enjoy using our vacation points to experience all of the Deluxe Villa resorts, but no matter where we roam, the tranquil community of Conch Flats always feels like home. Savoring some "Southernmost Buttermilk Chicken" on the patio at Olivia's Cafe is the perfect way to kick off a relaxing getaway.

Driving your vehicle to and from the theme parks is simple when staying at Disney's Old Key West Resort thanks to convenient self-parking just outside your villa. As the resort is located a stone's throw from EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, I suggest departing about thirty minutes before park opening. Because you'll need time to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center and then transfer to a ferry or monorail for a visit to the Magic Kingdom Park, I would leave your villa approximately forty-five minutes ahead of the scheduled opening.

Adrienne, at this time, the EPCOT monorail is not operational. We are not sure when it will resume its regularly scheduled route, so I recommend driving to Disney's Contemporary Resort on the morning of your Chef Mickey's meal and then heading to EPCOT in your car after breakfast. Keep in mind that things at Chef Mickey's look a little different these days; Mickey Mouse and friends are busy making magic elsewhere in the theme parks and are unable to attend. Additionally, a family-style breakfast of all-you-care-to-enjoy morning favorites will be served in place of a buffet. No doubt the experience will still be a delicious one and the perfect way to fuel up for a stroll through Future World and World Showcase.

I hope this has been helpful as you count down the final days before your magical vacation begins. If there is anything we can do to make this or a future stay more memorable, stop by to see us again. We love to help!

Have a great, big, beautiful tomorrow!
