Hello from NC! My DD and I are coming in Dec for the Christmas events! The MVMC event is on a Fri the 9th and Sun the 11th while we are there. Should I be able to make an ADR on those nights? Which night do you think is better to attend? Thanks!

    Hi Tammy,

Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and welcome! You may be able to make an Advance Dining Reservation for certain restaurants in Magic Kingdom park during a party, but please note that if your reservation time is after the start of the party, you'll need to have an additional ticket to stay in the park.

If you plan to stay and enjoy Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, I recommend making reservations for earlier in the day or another evening so you don't miss out on the festivities. It's such a fun event and I try to eat early enough so I can enjoy as much as possible.

In terms of which night to attend, I have a feeling that there won't be too much of a difference. That said, if I had to choose, I would probably pick Sunday. My theory is that many locals would be less likely to attend at the end of the weekend.

Wishing you a jolly holiday, Tammy! Please let us know if we can help you with any other questions as you plan!
