    Hi Nancy! I am so excited for our upcoming Fantasy cruise (2/23)! We are driving straight thru to Port Canaveral this time. Are there hotels, close to the port, that you can recommend? Something nice, but not pricey. Thanks so much!

    It is great to hear from you again!  Your February Fantasy sailing is just around the corner, and I can't wait for you to see and experience this beauty in person!
    My family has driven straight to Cape Canaveral on several occasions and stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott.  We like this hotel because the rooms are spacious, and a free breakfast is included. There is also an inexpensive shuttle to the port (you can leave your car at the hotel lot for free) that your family can also take advantage of as well. When we drive in the day before we usually arrive in time for the kids to enjoy the pool area and have even headed over to Jetty Park to watch some of other cruise ships sail away.  We take along our big Mickey Mouse hands and wave from the shore! 
    Country Inn and Suites is located next door to the Residence Inn, and I'm sure they offer similar accommodations and amenities so you may want to check out both hotels and choose which one works best for your family.  They are each less than two miles away from the Disney Cruise Line Terminal.
