Hi my name Yessica , I would like to find out more info about the annual passes. I am a DVC member since 2008 and want to know if this helps for discounts.

    Hello, Yessica!

As a DVC Member at the time of this writing, you are entitled to a really great discount on Walt Disney World Annual Passes.  Just go onto DVCMember.com, log in, and check out the "Member Privileges" tab there.  From the list of choices, select "Member Perks" and you will see "Walt Disney World Annual Pass Savings."  At this time, you can save $100 for each Walt Disney World Vacation Club Member's Annual Pass (kids 3-9 save $92 right now.)  For Premium Annual Passes, you save a bit more. Of course, Member Perks are subject to change at any time.

In order to maximize our vacation dollars, we take advantage of the Annual Pass savings by booking the first trip with that new pass as late in a vacation season as possible.  (This year, for example, we took advantage of a long school holiday weekend in the fall.)  Then, we try to book our next Walt Disney World Vacation some time the next year, during a long summer vacation, for example. This enables us to take at least two trips on those Annual Passes, although sometimes we can squeeze in a third or fourth, depending on the holiday calendar.  If you compare what you would have spent on that same number of trips, but using two different sets of tickets, you just might determine that this will save you quite a bit of money. (Or, at the very least, you might spend a similar amount on tickets, but get twice the vacation time out of an Annual Pass.)

Don't forget that there are benefits to being an Annual Passholder as well!  These benefits change from time to time, but you can find a current list of Walt Disney World Passholder benefits at Walt Disney World.com.

Should you have any additional questions regarding Annual Passes or anything else at Walt Disney World, please send more questions!  I love to help!
