Hi, my name is Tanya and I will be traveling with my husband son and neice 5/31-6/7 many have told me this is a very busy time and usually a rainy time should I be prepared to wait in long lines in the rain?

Since not even Mickey Mouse can guarantee the weather I suggest for those guests who are going during the rainy season to purchase the inexpensive Disney rain poncho to keep on hand during their days in the parks.  Florida weather is fickle and you can get a quick passing shower one minute and hot and humid the next.  Dragging along heavy raincoats is not fun and then worrying about losing them is not worth the effort.

The beauty of many of the Disney attractions is that their lines are formed inside or underneath protected coverings.  During the summer months many will have fans to keep the air circulating and in the winter months heaters will blow warm air on the waiting guests.  Disney tries to keep the lines moving and as comfortable as possible for those that choose to wait.  Often just waiting in an attraction line is entertainment as things will be happening around you!

A basic tip to you is for you to wait out the weather if a rain shower or storm should happen your way.  Many people will leave the parks during this time and you will see lines become much shorter. Don the poncho and stick it out!
