Can the name on the single ticket be different than the person entering the park?

Hi Angelique! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.

Yes, the good news is that the name on a standard admission ticket, which doesn't require the use of a government-issued ID, need not match the name of the Guest using the ticket. Once you scan into the parks, a Cast Member will quickly take your picture, and from that point forward, you'll be identified by the picture rather than a name. So, for most Guests, the name on the ticket won't matter.

Hopefully, that gives you peace of mind. However, if you're concerned about the name issue, you can speak to a friendly Cast Member on the Tickets phone line. They're always happy to assist and answer Guests' questions.

I hope your next visit is right around the corner. Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort and the Holidays at Disneyland Resort are my favorite times to visit the parks. What I love best about both seasons is the overlays on select attractions, which transform attractions into completely different experiences. My must-do is Haunted Mansion Holiday, which you'll find during Halloween and the Holidays in New Orleans Square in Disneyland Park.

    Have a magical day!
