Hi my name Shanell, I’m so excited to be planning my little family trip, but it’s not till next year for my little girl birthday and I will like to have a room and visit everything that’s at the park do y’all have a pack like that a week added to that

    Hi Shanell,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Let the dancing begin since you are planning your first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort and it will be your little girl's birthday!

Let me first provide some general tips. The week of Christmas is historically busy. Advance planning will be key if you intend to visit during this time. First, decide which category of resort hotel you prefer. Value resort hotels are typically more affordable but super fun with great pools. Disney's Art of Animation resort hotel is one of my favorite value resort hotels. Your little girl might adore a Little Mermaid room. Deluxe resort hotels can be more expensive but have fantastic amenities. Disney's Contemporary resort hotel, for example, has access to the resort monorail and is within walking distance of Magic Kingdom.

Second, check for Special Offers on vacation packages. When you price your package, price it with and without a dining plan. My family has found the Disney Dining Plan to be a great value. It provides one table-service and one quick-service meal entitlement plus two snacks per night of stay and one resort refillable mug. If you are staying for five nights, each person 3-years old and over in your party would receive 10 meal entitlements - five table-service and five quick-service. On this plan, we have lots of fun at character meals with our girls!

Shanell, also consider how to celebrate your little one's birthday. Check out all of the Enchanting Extras that might add a little extra magic for her. She might love Disney's Perfectly Princess Tea!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
