Hi my name is sandy i am going to be coming to disneyworld in august with my five kids. i know that is a hot month, i heard that it would be best to take kids out after 3p when the son is going down, because i have a special needs child in a wheelchair

    Hi Sandy!

If you are trying to avoid the heat of the day (typically 3-6 pm), I would head out as early in the morning as possible and then heading back to your resort shortly after lunch to wait out the 'hot hours.'  Then you can head back to the parks around 5:30 or 6 to enjoy the evening!

Also, make sure that you all drink plenty of water, and carry one of those misting spray bottles with you so that you can keep yourselves cool.  Cooling bandanas can also help fight off the heat.

    Have a magical vacation!
