Hiya Pamela!
Welcome to planDisney! Celebrating anything in Walt Disney World Resort is so magical but celebrating New Year's Eve is one of the best experiences!
Now, Pamela, we are just days away from New Year's Eve and things are looking very exciting. To the best of my knowledge, there is only one formal New Year's Eve dinner that I suspect is already fully booked. It is at
Disney's Contemporary Resort in the
California Grill. Each year there is a fun theme and this year it is "Tiana's New Year's Adventure at California Grill." The Spanish language version of the California Grill page still lists last year's theme which was "Alice's Whimsical World of Wonderland" but I promise that this year's is all about Tiana. Reservations can be made by calling (407) 824-2013; the cost is $799 per person, including tax and gratuity. Prices are subject to change without notice! There is a dress code for this event which calls for sophistication and an upscale aesthetic. Magical flair was also suggested.
If you cannot secure a last-minute reservation at the California Grill then I suggest hunting for special snacks instead! The
DisneyEats Instagram page has shared that there are special New Year's Eve treats which include the "2025 New Year's Eve Cupcake" that is available at
Pizzafari and Restaurantosauus at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Something that looks beautiful and delicious is the "Countdown to Midnight Petit Cake" which is available at
Amorette's Patisserie at Disney Springs. There could be other small treats or surprises at your Disney Resort Hotel but they don't always get posted online. I always see around every holiday a sign at the Front Desk or in the main dining areas noting a holiday treat or special activity. I would explore your Resort and see how you can ring in the New Year!
If you can make it to the Parks there will be fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, and even Disney's Hollywood Studios this year for New Year's Eve! A valid theme park ticket is needed but no theme park reservation is necessary if you have a date-based ticket. I expect Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT to be the busiest Parks and there is a good chance Magic Kingdom Park will hit capacity early on in the day. Don't arrive too late and get into the Park early so you don't miss the countdown!
I hope you have a magical time!
Happy Planning!
