    Norberto from TX Asked

My name is Norberto and I purchased Walt Disney World certificates and trying to plan my dates, but since I do not have tickets and only the certificate ID I am unable to make reservations. I live in Texas, so unable to exchange my certificates.

Hi Norberto, and welcome to planDisney!

Enjoy planning your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation, as it is such a fun time in the process! I believe you may be referring to the Disney Military Salute Tickets. Those tickets are a great value and benefit for Eligible Service Members or their spouses.

You can link your certificates to your My Disney Experience account using the certificate ID number printed on each certificate. If there is a barcode on your certificate, you can scan the barcode using your smartphone. Before you complete the process, you will want to ensure that each guest within your travel party is included by name within your account because the tickets will need to be assigned to each individual. Once your tickets are linked and assigned, you will be able to make your theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass Reservation System. Please note, this will not activate the tickets; you must complete that process in person.

Once you arrive for your first day at the theme parks, you will need to exchange/redeem your certificates in person at any Walt Disney World Theme Park Ticket Window or Disney Springs Guest Relations. The Eligible Service Member or their spouse must present their valid military ID. In addition, everyone using one of the available tickets must be present when you complete the activation.

Please return if you have additional questions.

    Have a magical vacation!
