Hi my name is Nadia and I will be arriving at Disney world august 12. I wanted to know if you go to a restaurant can you split your payment between a debit card for your appetizers and your magic band for for drink, entree, and desert.

    Hello Nadia,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question. It’s lovely to meet you!

If I understand your question correctly, you’re wondering whether it’s possible to divide your bill at a Disney dining location in two, with one half paid in cash (or with your debit card) and the other half either charged to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel room or paid using your Disney Dining Plan entitlements.

I’m happy to say that you can absolutely split up your party’s bill however you’d like, provided it gets paid completely at the end of your meal! Just make sure to tell your server how you’d like everything divided up at the beginning of your meal in order to minimize any confusion when it comes time to pay.

    Have a Magical Day,
