Disney's Art of Animation Resort is a phenomenal place to stay. The resort itself is beautiful and there are so many unique things to each section that visiting each section should be on your "to-do" list! While there are so many reasons that this resort is amazing, the
pools have got to be at the top. While at this current moment, all of the pools are open and available, things may change the closer you get to your trip. Let's go over the details and expected timelines.
While pools in Disney will stay open year-round, routine maintenance and cleaning will typically occur in the cooler months when most Guests will not be prioritizing pool days such as in the summer. This may affect your vacation. Typically in the January through March time frame, the pools may close for cleaning. This schedule is not solid and that is why it currently is not posted on the site. As time gets closer and Disney has precise dates, you may see this updated if they need to do any cleaning or maintenance and expect the pools to be out of service in some capacity. Typically when this happens, Disney tries to have this process with the smallest impact on the Guest experience so one may close at a time but rarely all of them.
There will be so many reasons to prioritize time at the resort and
Landscape of Flavors will be one of them. This quick-service location will have a wide variety of offerings to choose from with menus that vary from breakfast to dinner. You will have plenty of options to choose from to enjoy delicious food to power you through your day at the parks or enjoy your resort.
Transportation is another huge plus for this resort. The recent addition of the
Disney Skyliner system and a boarding location close by allows you the ability to get to so many places in a unique way. You may find this to be useful when getting to EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios or visiting any of the resorts along the way during a non-park day.
With so many amenities, recreational opportunities and conveniences, you are going to have a blast enjoying all this resort has to offer.
