    Does the name in the magic band have to an actual name or can it be a nickname or even a date since we keep the bands? in other words who is the name in the magic band for: us or WDW?

    Hi Audrey,

    You are welcome to use any combination of letters, numbers and spaces (maximum 9 total characters and spaces) to identify your MagicBands. I'm usually boring and just use the first names of my family members, but I've seen some really creative customizations.  For example, Disney Parks Moms Panelist Lauren recently customized her family's so that the labels in the decorative shipping box spelled Our Magical Disney Vacation Fall 2014.

    I think adding the date is a great idea. I may do that from now on so that we know which of our many MagicBands is from which vacation.
