Hi Kelly!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for bringing another fabulous question to us!
Clearly, you are doing some fantastic advanced planning. The Walt Disney World Swan Hotel is a beautiful property located in Disney's BoardWalk area. At this time, we are unable to make new resort hotel bookings with the Walt Disney World Resort so, unfortunately, Cast Members cannot check pricing and availability. Continue to check the
operational updates for more information on when the reservation system will open for new bookings. Since your reservation is so far out, rates still may not be available when the system opens again for new reservations. Even if you cannot check the online system once the reservation system opens, feel free to call 407-939-7429 to speak with a Cast Member about
room-only rates and to verify when you might be able to make that room-only reservation.
There is also another possibility. If you review the
Walt Disney World Swan home page on the Walt Disney World Resort website, you should be able to expand the section that says "So Much More to Enjoy" and you will see another web page link. If you click on that link, you should see an alternative phone number for reservations at the Walt Disney World Swan. The representative I spoke with using that phone number suggested that pricing for those dates should be available towards the end of December or in January, 2021. So, it looks like you will have to wait a little while to check, but once those rates are available, you can also call to make a reservation.
If you are like my family, you still might enjoy some Disney planning while you wait. So, if you have not already done so, consider which restaurants you will visit with
advanced dining reservations and which special experiences you might book with the
Enchanting Extras Collection. On our last visit, we loved the
Up Close with Rhinos experience which departed from Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park. If you are bringing little ones with you, also check the height requirements using the
attractions list. On our first visit with our girls, one of them needed to grow an inch prior to our trip so that she would be 40 inches tall and could ride some of the "big kid" rides. I am pleased to say, she made it!
Kelly, be sure to keep your eye on
additional updates about returning to a
world of magic since the availability of certain restaurants and dining experiences could change. And, most of all, get ready for the new adventures that await!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
