HI, My name is Karla. We are thinking of coming down for christmas. We are hearing from a lot of people that christmas time Disney World is busier than normal because everyone goes down. Is this true? Should we come at a different time when it crowded?

Hi Karla - it is true that the Christmas season is one of the busier times at Walt Disney World - with great reason.  The parks are all decorated, there is special entertainment, and there's definitely a festive spirit in the air.

That being said, if your preference is to go during a quiet time, you may consider earlier in December when the decorations are up but the crowds are smaller.  Or, you could just choose to go another time altogether.  Early fall tends to be quiet, as many families have kids back in school.  Either way, I'm sure you'll enjoy your family vacation!

    Have a great time!
