    HI MY NAME IS JAIME MY FAMILY AND I WILL BE TRAVELING TO WDW IN MAY FOR MY SONS BIRTHDAY. HE WILL TURN SIX WHILE WE ARE THERE. I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE RESERVATIONS FOR A SPECIAL B-DAY CHARACTER LUNCH OR DINNER FOR THE 5 OF US. WHICH REST. WOULD BE BEST?

    Hi Jaime!  Walt Disney World is the perfect place to celebrate your son's 6th birthday!

    I am Mom to a little one who has celebrated a few birthdays at Walt Disney World, so I thought it would make perfect sense to ask her opinion on this topic.  Hands down, she declared "Chef Mickey's!" I must say I agree!

    Chef Mickey's, located at Disney's Contemporary Resort, will offer your birthday boy a truly unique and unforgettable character dining experience. Chef Mickey's offers buffet-style dining and I bet you're little ones will get a kick out of the child-sized buffets tailored just for kids with options to please even the pickiest eaters... not to mention the scrumptious make-your-own sundae bar!

    Your guest of honor will be so excited when Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto each make their way to your table to sign autographs and pose for pictures! (characters are subject to change)  When you check in at the podium, be sure to ask for a free Birthday Button and if he/she doesn't mention it, you should also let the server know you are celebrating a special birthday!!! Be prepared for a surprise after your meal!

    For an extra special treat, you can also pre-order a birthday cake which will be ready when you arrive at Chef Mickey's.  Please call the Cake Hotline at 407-827-2253 at least 48 hours in advance to order.

    Be sure to call soon to book your advanced dining reservation, as Chef Mickey's is extremely popular.  Reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance online or by calling (407)WDW-DINE  You should also mention the celebration when booking!
