Hello, Damaris!
I can absolutely understand the lure of planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort. With the combination of school breaks and the limited-time
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, it’s no wonder it is a popular time to visit The Happiest Place on Earth!
All Guests of the Disneyland Resort theme parks are currently required to have both valid
theme park admission and
theme park reservations. Because of the theme parks’ popularity at this time, it is becoming more and more common to see many days with no available reservations. Note that even in-person ticket purchases are not guaranteed entry to the theme parks because the same calendar applies to all Guests.
So what can be done? There are two options to consider. First, don’t give up! Other Guests may need to change their plans and cancel their theme park reservations, thus making them available to you. This happens often. The day or two before a particular date frequently show intermittent availability. So
keep refreshing that calendar!
The other option is to consider booking a stay at one of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels. Guests staying at one of these amazing destinations will have access to
theme park reservation inventory exclusively for them. To access this park reservation system follow the “Retrieve Hotel Reservation” path from the “
My Theme Park Reservations” page.
Tony’s Tip: If you happen to already have theme park tickets but aren’t able to make a theme park reservation at this time, hakuna matata! No worries! Your theme park tickets remain valid until the expiration date indicated on your purchase confirmation. Even after the expiration date, the original
price paid for a wholly unused ticket may usually be applied toward the purchase of a new ticket of equal or greater value.
I’m wishing on a star that you find that desired theme park reservation, Damaris! And then I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort.
