Hi Cynthia! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm excited about your upcoming vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth! You get a chance to be a part of the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration with Mickey, Minnie, and the rest of the cast of characters. You are going to have the best time experiencing some of the new and old that Walt Disney World has to offer. Harmonious is the new nighttime spectacular over at
EPCOT and is a can't miss new event. The
Festival of Fantasy Parade at the Magic Kingdom Park is returning in March 2022 and is a favorite among my family. It's been a long time coming for a return of parades at Walt Disney World.
Currently, the
Walt Disney World Resort is not requiring proof of vaccination to enter any of the four theme parks. Disney is encouraging all Guests to get vaccinated but it is not a requirement. This information is subject to change at any time and I suggest you follow the
Disney Parks Blog for any
updates or announcements.
Just this week, Disney announced starting on February 17th, that all fully vaccinated Guests now have the option to wear face coverings indoors, and is no longer a requirement. They are still expecting Guests who are not fully vaccinated to continue to wear face coverings at all indoor locations and attractions. This may be a consideration for family members prior to your travel.
With all this said, now is the time to start mapping out your vacation and deciding which parks, restaurants, and attractions are in store for you. In the months leading up, my family all gets together and each of us decides what are our must-dos for the trip. We make sure to include these in our plans so everything gets a chance to experience their own kind of magic.
Cynthia, I hope this information helps you with your upcoming stay! Have a magical vacation!
See ya real soon!
