Hiya, Colleen!
It's always nice when a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member stops by planDisney for a visit –– thanks so much for your question today. While it might be a little early (okay, a lot early), let me be the first to wish you and your husband a Happy Anniversary! Personally, I can't think of a better place to celebrate your "Happily Ever After" than with a visit to Walt Disney World Resort, and it makes it even sweeter than you'll be bringing your whole family along with you for the festivities!
Since you'll be traveling with a larger party for your anniversary extravaganza, you'll need to choose a
2-Bedroom or 3-Bedroom Grand Villa if your whole family would like to stay together in the same Disney Vacation Club Villa during your vacation. Depending on which Resort and room type you choose, these accommodations sleep 9-12 people, and with their fully-equipped kitchens and dining spaces, they're the perfect place for big groups to make memories together. While you can't go wrong with any
DVC Resort, with small children in your party, I suggest considering one of the DVC Resorts around the EPCOT-area Crescent Lake ––
Disney's Beach Club Villas or
Disney's BoardWalk Villas –– or one of Disney Vacation Club's monorail Resorts as your home-away-from-home during your visit.
From the Crescent Lake Resorts, you can walk directly to both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios, while the monorail Resorts will allow you easy access to both Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT without needing to unload or fold your strollers to board the monorail. If there's one thing I've learned as a mom of four, it's that anytime we can make transportation easier, our Walt Disney World Resort days are a little more magical! Recently, I got a chance to talk about choosing the perfect Disney Resort with a few of my fellow Panelists on the
planDisney Podcast, Presented by State Farm, so be sure to check that out for tips and advice on selecting the perfect home base for your anniversary festivities.
I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney, Colleen, and I hope this helped to answer your question. I'm wishing you and your family a pixie-dusted anniversary celebration during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
Happy Planning,
Amy
