Hello! My name is Christian and two friends of mine from out of town and myself would like to visit Disneyland on Monday May 22th and unfortunately I wasn’t able to buy the tickets on line. My question is: can I buy them early at the park?

Hey there, hi there, Christian! Welcome to planDisney. You've brought your question to the right place and we are happy to help!

Oh, that's so exciting to hear you are heading to Disneyland Resort with your friends! I am happy to share that you can purchase tickets in person when you arrive at the parks at the Main Entrance Ticket Booth in the Esplanade. However, there is a chance that you could arrive and purchase tickets, but theme park ticket reservations be full for the day and then you not be able to enter the parks. Currently, you need both a ticket and a theme park ticket reservation for park entry. If you must purchase tickets in person, I would keep an eye on the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to make sure reservations are still available.

You can easily purchase tickets from the Disneyland website or the Disneyland app which is even more convenient if you are already on your way. Tickets are done digitally now, so no need to print tickets. Just scan your ticket barcode at the entrance and you are ready for a day of magic! The Disneyland app is also where you will be able to purchase and manage Disney Genie+ if you want to really make the most of your day.

Christian, thanks so much for stopping by! You've got a friend in us if you have any other planning questions!

Well hello friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mama and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. We love that we are close enough to Disneyland Resort to make a last-minute trip to see the Mouse quite frequently. You'll find us in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can fit in! I love helping my friends plan memorable trips to Disneyland Resort and can't wait to help you too! Learn More About Carrie
