what is the name of the ceremony when the park officially closes. something like the good night kiss?

Hello Lisa!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

The Kiss Goodnight is such a sweet goodbye to Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom.  The nightly "show" lasts about 2 minutes and occurs every 30 minutes after the park has closed for the night.  The Cinderella Castle starts to sparkle and you can hear soft music from When You Wish Upon A Star.  Then a narrator comes on and thanks you for spending the day at Magic Kingdom and wishes you goodnight.  It's a very sweet way to end your day at Magic Kingdom.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask us.  Have a great day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
