Hi Trish,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Walt Disney World has so many magical modes of transportation that allow guests to travel between the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. I still can’t decide which is my favorite!
I think you’re asking about Express Transportation, which was a service where, for a fee, Guests could travel between the theme parks using special buses that picked up at the back of each park. I’m sorry to tell you that the Express Transportation service ended last summer and is no longer available at Walt Disney World. While I know that’s not the news you were looking for, I am happy to suggest some other modes of
transportation between the theme parks.
The iconic Disney transportation is, of course, the monorail. When I hop aboard these beautiful trains I feel transported to Walt’s vision of Walt Disney World, and it’s also a very convenient way to travel between Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot.
Disney boats are also wonderful, and you can catch a ride on a Friendship Boat between Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot. There is also a really lovely walking path between the two parks.
The polka-dotted Minnie Van service might be an option depending on where you are staying. These magical vehicles cost $25 per ride, but are a super convenient way to get between the parks and resorts.
Walt Disney World bus transportation runs reliably throughout the day between thetheme parks. I actually love the buses because the rides are usually the perfect length for a power snooze.
The Cast Members at your hotel, or those at any of the transportation points, can help you figure out the best way to travel from one destination to another. I hope you have the best time park hopping!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
