Hi there, April!
Thank you for stopping by planDisney, and congratulations on your upcoming wedding. It's almost time for the big day! I hope you are enjoying your engagement as you plan for your special day. It is easy to stress over the little details, but in the end, you get to marry your best friend. There is nothing better than that!
As a frequent visitor to Disneyland Resort, I understand your interest in taking wedding photos at "The Happiest Place on Earth". It would be a magical place for photos in your dress! However, the
Disneyland Resort Park Rules state that clothing that drags on the ground is prohibited in the theme parks, meaning that full-length wedding gowns cannot be worn. I am sorry! I know many people change out of their wedding dress into a shorter, casual dress for the reception to dance the night away. You might be able to wear something like that! Just check the
Guest Attire Policies in the
Park Rules to ensure your outfit abides by the rules.
Did you know that you can get married at Disneyland Resort? I hope to have a vow renewal ceremony on property someday. Wouldn't that be amazing?? There are many venue options located throughout Disneyland Resort, such as the Rose Court Garden in
Disneyland Hotel and the Parkview Terrace in
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Detailed information can be found on
Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoon website.
April, I hope your wedding is a dream come true. It goes by quickly, so enjoy every moment of your special day!
Wishing you a Happily Ever After!
Jen
