Thank you for your service, AJ! I’m excited to hear you’re heading to San Diego to visit your daughter soon.

Unfortunately, there is still no scheduled date or timeline for reopening Disneyland Resort theme parks and hotels (pending local government and state regulations). Like so Disney fans, I am anxiously waiting too! I’m looking forward to strolling down Main Street USA, enjoying a concoction at Oga’s Cantina and cruising on Radiator Springs Racers.

AJ, while the theme parks remain temporarily closed, Downtown Disney District is currently open and extended to include Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure park and the Disneyland Resort Backlot Premier Shop. Many retail locations are available, and food and beverages can be purchased to-go at certain establishments. While it may not be quite the same as enjoying attractions inside the parks, I bet you and your Princess will have a magical day exploring different parts of Downtown Disney District! Be sure to pick up some treats at Marceline’s Confectionery, browse new outfits at Disney Dress Shop, and pick up a souvenir at World of Disney.
