Hello there, Adam! Thank you so much for visiting us at planDisney. We love helping Guests get the answers to their planning questions!
I am so sorry to hear that a family member is not doing well and they won't be able to attend your upcoming visit to Disneyland Resort. You are correct. Tickets are nonrefundable, but they can be used at a later date. The great thing about theme park ticket reservations is that you can modify them if plans change. Your family member (or whoever has the tickets linked to their account) will need to go to the
Tickets and Reservation Details page, or through the
Disneyland app to modify their reservation. If it's a multiday ticket, should be able to change it to any available dates through the validity of the ticket that shows up on the calendar. Currently, theme park reservations can be made up to 120 days in advance. This ticket could also be used by someone else if needed since tickets are not assigned to someone until they are used for the first time.
If you haven't made dining reservations for your visit, but decide you might like to experience a reservation dining opportunity, look for the participating dining options that use the
mobile walk-up list. I use this option frequently on my visits to Disney California Adventure Park to grab a last-minute spot at Lamplight Lounge - Boardwalk Dining.
Adam, thanks again for stopping by! See you real soon!
Carrie
