What does the n/a or up to 1 listing mean in the number of credits of the dining plan needed for certain restaurants?

    Hey Preston-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so glad you reached out to help prepare for your magical adventure in July. Getting a jump on your itinerary with Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days ahead of your trip is brilliant.

Disney Dining Plans allocate a certain number of dining entitlements for meals and snacks. The “N/A” means “not applicable or not available”, the “1” means one entitlement and the “2” means two entitlements. According to the Disney Dining Cast Member I chatted with, when it says “N/A up to 1” it means this would be the maximum number of entitlements needed should you use a dining plan.

    Let’s look at two examples:

At the California Grill atop of Disney’s Contemporary Resort you have several options from four of the Disney Dining Plan options. For Dinner (not any other meals), Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan is not available while both the Disney Dining Plan and Deluxe Dining Plans require two entitlements. With more comprehensive plans, such as the Disney Premium and Platinum Plans, Guests need to use only one meal entitlement.

At Be Our Guest Restaurant, housed in the Beast’s Castle in the Enchanted Forest section of New Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom Park, during lunch and dinner it is “N/A or up to 1.”

Every restaurant or dinner show has a system. Check the Disney Dining website to find your desired dining location. On the restaurant page's right hand side, next to the picture, you will see a link to “Some Dining Plans Accepted.” Click the link to find the specifics about Disney Dining Plan entitlements.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
