We have 2 MYW tickets (6 day PH w/ 5 fun visits) for children purchased in 07. We are going WDW in several weeks and need to upgrade these to adult tickets as the kids are now 13. What is the best way to do this? Any idea the price difference? Thanks!

    Hi Caroline!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Children sure grow up fast, don't they? Any ticket upgrade must be done at a Walt Disney World location with access to the Automated Ticketing System. So, basically this is any theme park ticket windows (which includes the water parks) or Guest Services location, or one of the Downtown Disney Guest Services locations.

As to the price difference, that all depends on several things. It depends on whether your tickets are unused or tickets with a No Expire option. It depends on where you purchased the tickets, whether from Disney directly, as part of a vacation package, from AAA or other discount retailer, etc. The general answer would be the difference of the value of the ticket and the current gate price.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

I wish your family a magical, fantastical vacation!
