Hi, Lora!
So glad you asked
Disney Parks Moms Panel this question; it's a good one!
The
Disney Dining Plan is a great way to enjoy absolutely spectacular meals while touring
Walt Disney World--excellent choice!
When you use a Disney Dining Plan entitlement at
Epcot's Chefs de France, you have some delicious decisions to make. First, you may go the traditional route and order any entree from the
Chefs de France menu as well as a non-alcoholic beverage and a dessert, or you might want to try something different. Some chefs throughout Walt Disney World recognize that guests who are on the traditional Disney Dining Plan that does not include an appetizer (Guests on the Disney
Deluxe Dining Plan may choose an appetizer at both lunch and dinner as part of their entitlements) would have preferred to order one of the most popular appetizers on their menus. Thus, a little Disney magic ensued, and those chefs created
prix-fixe menus that include a choice of one select appetizer, one select entree and one select dessert, all while using the DDP. Chefs de France is one such restaurant that offers this option.
This is a great combination for guests who enjoy appetizers, but would not order one if not included on their Dining Plan. In short? You win! Choose whichever option you'd prefer, all of which will be absolutely delicious. (Can you tell that we have dined there often, leaving oh so full and happy every time?)
Send more questions as you plan your trip to Walt Disney World, Lora; we love to help!
