    DH and myself with our 5 year old are coming for our 4th visit Dec11-16(but 1st MVMCP!), we've always stayed at the Poly, but staying at BC this time, DH is worried about the wait for buses after MVMCP, are taxis available as an alternative? thx

    Hi Stephanie!

         You and your family are going to love attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and you are going to really enjoy the Beach Club Resort!  Sometimes the wait for a bus back to your Resort after a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party can be long.  A taxi may be an alternative, but the Magic Kingdom taxis are located at the Ticket and Transportation Center which means that you would have to take a Monorail or Ferry Boat to get to the Ticket and Transportation Center (which would mean some lines to get on either of those as well).  If you want to take a taxi, then your best option would be to walk to the Contemporary Resort from the Magic Kingdom (a 5 to 10 minute leisurely walk) and then take a taxi from the Contemporary Resort directly to the Beach Club Resort.  Keep in mind that a typical one way taxi fare is under $20.00 including a tip.  A taxi ride from the Contemporary Resort to the Beach Club Resort should only take about 15 minutes and there usually are taxis waiting at the Resorts so you should not have to wait to get a taxi.
