Myself and my twin will be celebrating our birthday when we travel in May but will not be staying at a Disney Resort! How can I make our trip to the parks are extra special?

Hi there Chris. May I be the first to say, Happy Birthday to you and your twin!

A trip to Walt Disney World is always magical but, there's even more pixie dust in the air when you're there to celebrate a special occasion!

You'll want to start by visiting Guest Services at any of the theme parks to request a FREE Recognition Button for the birthday celebrants to wear. This pin is sure to provide extra attention for the two of you from Disney cast members and other park guests throughout your Disney Day. And you'll typically receive free treats like a cupcake with candles and plenty of song and fanfare at the dining locations.

You may wish to consider ordering a custom cake to honor your celebration. Simply contact the Disney Cake Hotline at 407-827-2253 to discuss your options at least 48-72 hours in advance.

Perhaps the Disney Florist can provide some presents at one of your table service meals? Contact a Dream Maker to find out about all the amazing items that you can have delivered just about anywhere on property.

Thanks so much for visiting us here at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel! Wishing you many happy returns!
