Myself & my 2 sons are planning on visiting Yachtsman steak house during our upcoming trip. I understand that it requires 2 credits from our meal plan however does this also go for the kids, because the kids menu pricing seems to not warrant 2 credits.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Maureen! You’ve got great taste in choosing the Yachtsman at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort! It’s a BOATload of goodness.

My mom and I took the kids there to eat a year or do ago, and it was delicious. I specifically remember how beautiful (and tasty) my Pan-seared Sea Scallops were, while I know my Mom went straight for her classic wedge salad order. When your family is dining at a table service restaurant that requires two Table Service Credits for a meal, you’ll be allowed to pay a few ways. If you feel that you’d like to save your children’s meal credits for another time (did you know you can downgrade them into snacks or use a TS credit at a QS restaurant?) you can always pay for them a la carte while you use your dining plan credits. Your meal credits are yours to save or spend, just make sure you decide before making your food order since your wait staff will want to know.

Whether you decide to pay with cash or credits, your meal will be so tasty! Make sure to walk off those full bellies around the beautiful Boardwalk when your meal is done. And if you have extra room in your tummy, you can always stop by Ample Hills Creamery for a tasty dessert. If you need more help planning your magical getaway, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
