My DH, myself, my sister and sister-in-law are coming the week of Christmas. We are so excited. Can you tell me which TS restaurants serve traditional Christmas meals on Christmas evening? We would like to make our ADR for that kind of meal.

    Hi Tammy,

Christmas in Walt Disney World is absolutely magical.  The theme parks and resorts are decorated so beautifully at the holidays!

You are coming up on 180 days before Christmas.  At that time, you will want to make your dining reservation, as Christmas is a popular time to visit Walt Disney World.  Since Disney has not yet released which restaurants will have special menus for Christmas in 2013, I suggest that you consider the restaurants that have had Christmas menus in previous years and make a reservation at one of those.  In the theme parks, these include the Biergarten Restaurant at the Germany Pavilion in Epcot, the Hollywood Brown Derby and Hollywood and Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom.  At the resorts, many restaurants have offered holiday menus, including Citricos at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, as well as Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and many others.  If you go to the unofficial site wdwinfo.com and search for "Christmas menu," you will find a list of restaurants that had special menus for Christmas in 2012.  As Christmas gets closer, monitor the Disney World website for information about Christmas meals.  If you decide to change your dining reservation when that information comes out, you can do so.

Remember to make that Christmas dining reservation at 180 days out!  You can do so at the Disney Dining website, or by calling 407-WDW-DINE (407) 939-3463.  I hope that this information is helpful, Tammy.  Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions in planning your magical holiday vacation!
