Hi, myself and my 2 kids will be visiting. I have the memory maker on my ticket however I won’t be doing the big rides but the kids will, My Q.is, will the rides pick up the memory maker to take their pictures if I’ve not scanned my magic band on the ride?

    Hi Karen!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It’s so great to hear from you again!

Your trip is approaching quickly! I hope that you are starting to get excited. During your stay, if you are planning on visiting EPCOT, the 2020 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be in full bloom! Not only are there stunning topiaries throughout EPCOT (which also are great photo opportunities,) but the gardens are exquisite. You can tell that a lot of love and work goes into making EPCOT so beautiful. Don’t forget to check out the outdoor kitchens for some gourmet bites of food!

Disney’s Memory Maker is the best way to get all of your PhotoPass photos for just one price! I highly recommend purchasing Disney’s Memory Maker in advance. If you order within three days of your holiday, you will save a bit of money. As long as your children are linked to your My Disney Experience account, their PhotoPass photos will show up on your Memory Maker. Some attractions such as Slinky Dog Dash Roller Coaster at Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Magic Kingdom Park will magically take the attraction photos and link them to your Memory Maker. However, other attractions such as Test Track at EPCOT and Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park have a photo station as you exit the attraction where you will have to tap your MagicBand for the photos to download to your Memory Maker.

I would advise your children to consider checking with a Cast Member at the exit of the attraction to see if they will need to tap their MagicBand to link up the attraction photos!

I hope that you and your family have the most magical time!
